All Canopy pilots are required to maintain good standing with FAA's Part 107 certification to operate drones commercially. Beyond the FAA's standard, Canopy institutes strict guidelines and training to ensure proper operation and understanding to maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies.
We believe that education goes hand in hand with safety. Pilots cannot operate safely, effectively, and efficiently without the proper educational foundation to do so. Continued education is not just a recommendation for Canopy employees; it's part of the culture. We never stop learning, which helps us find new ways to improve practices and deliver innovative results and solutions for our clients.
Canopy's carries a $1 mil. liability insurance policy which covers personal injury, invasion of privacy, bodily injury, medical expenses, and property damage. If required, we can adjust insurance coverage on an as-needed basis.
